# Sleep & Wake the lululemon Studio Mirror

Sleep the lululemon Studio Mirror

You do not need to power the lululemon Studio Mirror off between uses. We recommend leaving your Mirror on to receive background updates. Your Mirror will automatically go to sleep after 5 minutes. If you’d like to adjust the timing, you can choose how long before your Mirror goes to sleep.

*   Ensure your lululemon Studio Mirror is updated and you are connected to your lululemon Studio Mirror. See [here](https://mirror.kustomer.help/en_us/update-your-mirror-software-and-ios-app-S1b1pkqX) to update your lululemon Studio Mirror.
*   Visit the “Settings” tab of your lululemon Studio App.
*   At the top of the screen, tap "THE MIRROR." 
*   In the menu, tap “Sleep Mode.”
*   Select the amount of time before your Mirror goes to sleep. You can select 1 to 10 minutes or Never.

Please note, your Mirror will not sleep if it’s on the set-up screen, an error screen, or if your smartphone or tablet is connected with the lululemon Studio App open. To ensure the Mirror will sleep, force close your lululemon Studio App on your smartphone or tablet. ### Wake the lululemon Studio Mirror  
  

*   Ensure your smartphone or tablet is connected to the same network as the Mirror. Follow this [link](https://mirror.kustomer.help/en_us/check-what-network-your-mirror-and-phone-connect-to-S1lehtH6U) for more information about how to check which network your Mirror and smartphone or tablet are connected to. 
*   Open the lululemon Studio App. 
*   If the lululemon Studio Mirror doesn't automatically wake to the pulsing logo, connect to the Mirror through "Settings" of the lululemon Studio App:
    *   Navigate to "Settings" on the lower right corner of the lululemon Studio App.
    *   Tap "CONNECT"
    *   You should see your Mirror Name in the list of options above "Set up a New Mirror" (for example: mirror-12345ab).
    *   If your Mirror Name does not display, tap on "Don't See Your Mirror Here" and follow the prompts on your phone or tablet to connect.
